Events: PEARLS, PEARLS, PEARLS, PEARLS

PEARLS, PEARLS, PEARLS, PEARLS...PEARLS We Do Adore! Since ancient times, the pearl has been a symbol of unblemished perfection. It is the oldest known gem, and for centuries it was considered the most valuable. A fragment of the oldest known pearl jewelry, found in the sarcophagus (a stone coffin) of a Persian princess who died in 520 BC, is displayed in the Louvre in Paris, the city of love.

Every trip down the aisle begins with a proposal. And what better way to do it than with a pearl and diamond bauble.

The date is set and the perfect venue selected. Now it is time to send out the invitations.

Complement your ceremony with a pearl-infused bouquet. P.S. Don’t forget your groom.

After the I Do’s, wow your guests with a space that keeps them in awe the entire evening.

Let GIRLS IN PEARLS EVENTS design your custom invitations, create bold flower statements and transform your venue in a way that will make a great first and lasting impression on your guests.

Keep the mood festive and the libations flowing by presenting a signature drink. Try the Passion Pearls Cocktail.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz rum
1 1/2 oz passion fruit vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz lemon juice
2 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters

Preparation:
Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Shake well.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

NOTE: There are a few companies who are producing passion fruit vodka, including SKYY, Smirnoff and 42 Below (not available in the US yet) and it is becoming easier to find. Otherwise, get a mixologist or bar tender to infuse a unique, flavorful blend for you.

Further paying homage to the pearl, serve your guests oysters prepared three or more ways as hors d'oeuvres or as part of the main meal.

Now for the second biggest attraction of the day (only second to the bride)...

Enlist the expertise of a master confectioner, such as Sweet Delights, www.sweetdelights.info.

No one should ever leave a grand fete empty handed. Your guests’ parting gift should reflect your personal styles or personalities and must be memorable. A bottle of wine and classic stopper makes your day unforgettable.

Every great night must come to an end. Make your exit as grand as your entrance.

If you are more of a traditional girl, your exit strategy should include a vintage Rolls Royce.

Live and Love...Fabulously.
